This morning I had the privelage of sitting in a court room with 45 people. Those 45people represented 28 different nations. There were all sorts of colors and shades of humanity there. And my heart (that still beats "missions missions missions") swelled and my eyes teared up as I thought to myself, "Surely this is a glimpse of what heaven looks like."

They stood up, one by one, and introduced themselves. "Good morning, Your Honor, my name is....and I am from......" The judge welcomed them and went into a moving speech about how our Great Nation was founded on Immigrants such as themselves. How they are now bound to take what is good in our Country and to make it better. It was solemn and it was very happy.

How was I so privelaged to witness this event? Conrad became a U.S. citizen today! Although I was kind of sad to have lost a "foreigner" in our home, I was thrilled for him! He is excited to call himself an American...and to vote! Welcome to the family, babe!
