Lately, Isabelle's independance has been peaking. If she doesn't get something she wants, she'll scream, do the back arch, and then put her little finger in your face and say, "No!" My first reaction is to laugh...especially when she's doing it to her Daddy, and I'm just an innocent by stander.
But we both push the laugher down and proceed with responsible course of correction. I'm thinking of inviting the Miller's new family friend, Sad Man, to our house soon.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who captures the drama on film. Sad man could be coming by our house as well but "do you want to go to your room" is still working (for now).
Thanks! We sure do. it's www.eastavenuestudios.com We have some recent baby stuff on the east avenue blog as well.
HEY, good advice I might be needing soon, too! 13 month old Andrew is already collapsing on the floor with a wail whenever he doesn't get what he wants! When I slap his hands he giggles at me. grrr. I loved your friends' blog, though. A glimpse of things to come, I think! (What would Mrs. Camden do? LOL!)
In our house growing up, it was called the "rod of correction", complete with the Bible verse written on it... spare the rod and spoil the child. I'd opt for the sad man face. Less therapy dollars. BTW, be praying for my mom. She's been in the hospital the past few days-- fractured vertebrae and other things. She's as positive as ever (pain? Oh, it's not that bad really. And there are all these nice doctors and nurses taking care of me). RM
